3RD EDITION OF CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS
Anijie Global Foundation, as an NGO fully committed to positively impacting society, we know that investing in our team’s training is essential to achieving our mission. Not investing in our team training will put our raison d’etre at risk; hence we regularly provide capacity-building series for our team members and volunteers. We firmly believe that leadership and learning are inseparable, and we prioritise our team’s development to ensure our organisation’s success.
Our members and volunteers are the backbones of our organisation, and we recently hosted our third annual capacity-building workshop for them on February 25th, 2023.
The workshop was a resounding success, featuring renowned facilitators such as Maudlyn Akosua Awuku (Founder & CEO of Anijie Global Foundation; GEWE Network), Ernest Tsifodze (Leadership Coach, Author and Founder Nalike Africa), Darkoa Bessa-Simons (Recruitment Associate Lead for Ghana), Andrew Akoto Addo (Social Innovator & Program Officer Reach For Change), and Emmanuel Ehun (CEO NEM Engineering), who shared their expertise on value creation, leadership skills, communication, and building meaningful relationships.
The workshop was an excellent opportunity for our team to refresh their essential skills, boost their morale, and increase their efficiency and responsibility outside the organisation. Furthermore, the workshop allowed the team to exchange ideas on the year’s project plans, emphasising the organisational focus on providing socio-economic empowerment for women, youth, and children towards Gender Equality, Climate Action, and Quality Education. Investing in our team’s training has improved our success rate, project deliveries, communication, cohesion, collaboration, and innovation, accelerating our organization’s growth.
Anijie Global Foundation is a youth lead NGO dedicated to empowering women, youth, and children in West Africa Ghana.
