Anijie Global Foundation is a youth-led non-profit organization empowering women and young people through education and leadership development to create positive community impact and global progress. Our focus areas include education, gender equality, and climate action, implemented through sustainable initiatives addressing critical issues such as period poverty and leadership development.
WHAT WE OFFER
The internships are designed as hybrid opportunities combining remote work with scheduled in-person activities. The program runs for three months and offers:
Hands-on experience in youth empowerment and community development
Mentorship from experienced professionals in the development sector
Networking opportunities with global changemakers and partners
Professional development workshops and training
Certificate of completion
Letter of recommendation based on performance

WHAT WE OFFER
As an integral part of our dynamic team, you will support various aspects of our programs and initiatives. Your responsibilities may include:
Program Support
Assist in planning and implementing educational and leadership programs
Support the preparation and coordination of workshops and training sessions
Help organize community outreach activities and events
Contribute to program documentation and reporting
Communications & Outreach
Support social media content creation and management
Assist in developing promotional materials
Help document program activities through photos and stories
Contribute to newsletter content and updates
Administrative Support
Assist with database management and record-keeping
Support event logistics and coordination
Help with document preparation and organization
Provide general administrative assistance as needed
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Administrative Support
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (International Development, Social Sciences, Education, Environmental Studies, or related areas)
Strong interest in youth empowerment, education, and sustainable development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in community service or volunteer work
Knowledge of UN Sustainable Development Goals
Familiarity with social media management
Basic graphic design skills
Experience in event planning or project coordination
