Uniting Voices, Empowering Action
The African Youth Gender and Climate Conference (AYGCC) is Anijie Global Foundation’s flagship annual event, bringing together young African leaders, climate activists, gender advocates, and sustainability experts to address the intersection of climate change, gender equality, and youth leadership.
Climate action without gender consideration is only half a solution.

About AYGCC
The African Youth Gender and Climate Conference (AYGCC) is an annual forum uniting young African leader to tackle climate challenges while championing gender inclusivity. Standing at the forefront of addressing climate challenges through an inclusive lens, AYGCC recognizes that climate change disproportionately affects women and girls across Africa. The conference creates a dynamic platform where youth voices lead the conversation on sustainable development and gender-responsive climate solutions.
Through this flagship event, we empower youth to develop and implement innovative, inclusive solutions for sustainable development across the continent, with particular emphasis on green jobs, sustainability, and amplifying marginalized voices in the fight against climate change.
Hosted annually in November in Ghana, AYGCC extends beyond the main conference through year-round virtual events and sustainability initiatives including recycling and tree planting programs.
